Who We Are
Center for Community Counseling (CCC), began in 1978 as a grassroots counseling program, Aslan House. Located on the grounds of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, we provide affordable counseling and education to adults with limited financial resources.
Our program is unique because more than 90 professional therapists volunteer at CCC. Social workers, counselors, and psychologists contribute their time and expertise to serve our clients.
The client and the counselor determine goals and establish how long they will work together.
What We Do
Our Services include:
Individual Counseling: Weekly sessions that provide a supportive
environment in which to explore
personal issues and life goals.
Anger Management Classes for Parents: An eleven week class designed to
help participants manage
stress and discover new strategies for coping with anger.
Nurturing Parent Classes: A ten week class created to teach skills that
improve relationships between
parents and children and provide skills which will help
parents raise happy, successful kids.
Our classes are offered three times a year with free on-site childcare
provided.
